More peasants?

The Victorian Era was certainly a magnificent era, although it also represented a lot of that time's somewhat questionable values; greed, selfishness, hypocrisy, etc. People of the Victorian Era, or Victorians, were always looking to elevate their social status. This went on for many, many years. But did you know that, by the era's end, many people were starting to reject the idea of being high class? It's true! So,  in essence, they added more peasants to society? How rude! But, in all seriousness, maybe it was a change for good? Less people trying to reach high society meant less selfish and ambitious people, right? What do you think?

  1. This has always been an issue of contention! Some people are for division of classes, others don't care.
